LG Electronics has entered the 4 position in the market of mobile phones
In the first quarter of this year, LG Electronics Company has entered the market of mobile phones at the fourth largest in the world, ahead of Sony Ericsson company.
LG Mobile unit for the first three months of 2008 reached record levels of sales - 3.4 billion dollars. This is almost 33% more than in the same period a year earlier.
Due to the high sales of phones Viewty, Voyager, KF600 and other flagship models of premium-class supply amounted to 24.4 million units. Deliveries to developing markets for the quarter increased by 36%, and sales of CDMA-machines in the United States and Korea increased by 18%.
The expected increase in the volume of shipments in the second quarter of this year is at least 20%.
